All things seem to evolve, comedy and shows also evolve, as is the case with South Park. While the show has been continuously funny, the kind of comedy has certainly changed. This isn’t to rail against this change, there are things I love about this change, but there are also somethings I miss. One thing I noticed was some of my most beloved lines and bits were no longer used or even recognized anymore, but specifically catch phrases from the show.

Here are some catch phrases that aren’t used anymore:

Cartman:

‘”Screw you guys, I’m going home!”

“Respect mah authoritah!”

“I’m not fat, I’m big boned!”

“You guys, I’m so seriously!”

“Fuck you, Kyle!”

Stan:

“Oh my God, they killed Kenny!”

Kyle:

“Oh my God, they killed Kenny! You bastards!”

“Kick the baby!”

Al Gore:

“Whuts going on here!?” (Whooshing noises)

“I’m super. cereal!

“It’s Mon-Bahr-Peigh” (man bear pig)

Jimmy:

“W-wow, what a t-terrific audience.”
‘Don’t worry, fellas!’

Butters:

“Lu, lu, lu, I’ve got some apples, lu, lu, lu, you’ve got some too…”

“Oh, hamburgers!”

“Do you know, what I am saying?”

Mr. Garrison:

“That’s right, Mr. Hat.”

“Oh. Jeez.”

Mr. Mackey:

“Drugs are bad, mkay?”

Chef:

“Hello there, children!”

Towelie:

“I have no idea what’s going on.”

“You’re a towel.”
“Don’t forget to bring a towel.”

One response to “These South Park catchphrases are never (or rarely) said anymore”

  1. You’ll still catch some of these if you swing by my workplace 😆
