It’s that time again! Time for an update of the ChatGPT vs S&P 500 fund for month five! The last one of these was April,29th, so I’m getting back on track to doing this at the end of the month.
Trade wars and tariffs have been paused and the Treasury Secretary and the administration are stating deals are being made every day and trillions of dollars are now being invested into the United States. I’m hoping this can serve as a sort of time capsule in a way to what’s happening in a very small slice of the market. Again, like earlier this month, it continues to be my prediction that the ChatGPT picks will be more sharply impacted by the administration’s policies and tariffs.
With that being said, let’s see where we’re at:

As predicted, the Chat GPT stocks were more largely affected given their small industry selection and collective impacts given the similar industries. Additionally, the growth that is happening may not necessarily be in high growth technology stocks, but instead in stocks that have high free cashflow and or low price per earnings ratios. This would suggest a stronger performance on the FNILX, which is what we are seeing (although the reasons could be numerous.
